Activities Abound
It's more than just bikes.
The goal of Pedal Adventure Camps is to teach your kids the rules of the road, bike path etiquette and the safest way to navigate Denver using the bicycle trail system. We want campers, at the end of a session, to feel safe and confident in their abilities riding anywhere two wheels can take them.
We also get off our bikes at any moment when there's a new fun activity to try. The occasional kickball tournament, crawdad hunting, chalk-drawing, POOLS, museums or nature walks are just a few of the adventures we look for.
Our Stops are As Fun As Our Rides
Denver's just a big playground.
Our destinations are the cultural and natural institutions that make this city great, like the Botanic Gardens, skate/bike parks, museums, State Capitol, Governor's Mansion, Hammond's Candy Factory, city parks, green spaces and more. We try to stick to a loose schedule because you never know what we may find that will devour hours of fun! During our stops we practice bike handling skills and drills, basic bicycle mechanics including flat repair and a multitude of group and team building activities.
Just Bring Your Sense of Adventure
...and some sunscreen.
Our counselors carry supplies such as extra water, first-aid, bike locks, activities, etc. Send your child with a bike, helmet, closed-toed shoes, backpack filled with lunch, water, sunscreen, and we’ll take care of the rest. Some days we may even travel further afield using the light rail system. On these days we will travel with our bikes and ride at our destination.
